On today’s episode of “it’s not easy being heather…”

I decided to try making a whole breakfast in the air fryer. I put three small eggs in a little tin with water, then a couple links of turkey sausage, and a slice of toast.

Problem number one… those items all cooked at WAY different speeds. So I munched on my toast, while I pulled the sausage out, and ate THAT while I waited for the eggs to finish. No big deal. I’m on COVacation19 right now, so I’ve got nothing but time.

I heard the ‘ding’ and simultaneously smelled the burned egg… wamp. Pulled it out and it had burned the top skin, but it was actually super easy to peel that bit off. No harm, no fowl (GET IT? FOWL? Because eggs? I’ll be here all week). So then, I was left with a bunch of egg white and three perfect little yolks – sweet. Put everything in a bowl, disposed of the eggy tin foil baking dish, and headed back to my office, all excited to enjoy the third and final piece of what has now become quite a disjointed breakfast.

ON THE WAY to said office, I stepped on something, and it scared me, and I jumped, which turned into a trip, which turned into me HURLING the entire bowl, eggs, spoon, and all halfway into my office, dumping TWO of the three eggs all over the floor. So the DOG had a lovely breakfast of two little eggs, and I pouted and ate ONE.
